Jet Tec are a UK based manufacturer of compatible ink cartridges established in 1989 with over 300 staff. Their business is well established and has won a number of awards including the The Queen's Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2004 and the Queen's Award for Export. They hold ISO ISO9001 and ISO14001 Certification.

Research & Development

Jet Tec have their own research and development department who are responsible for the creation of their patented Extralife system which is designed for use with Epson printers. Many Epson printers use a technology where the printer calculates when it thinks the ink cartridge is empty and transmits an instruction to the cartridge to stop it from printing. The cartridge stops working whether it has ink in it or not. Jet Tec Extralife cartridges get around this problem by having a special chip installed that when activated allows the cartridge to continue being used until the ink actually runs out. The Extralife system won Jet Tec the highly prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise: Innovation 2004.

Manufacturing

Jet Tec manufacture hundreds of different compatible ink cartridges for use with all the major printer brands including Epson, Brother, Cannon, Dell, HP, Lexmark and Samsung. Jet Tec have a custom built, state of the art factory in Lincolnshire where they manufacture their cartridges.

Jet Tec fully guarantee all of their ink cartridges against defects due to faulty materials or workmanship.
